In 2003 Camp X was once again on the air. This time, one of our ingenious members, manufactured a device that made raising a tower a whole lot simpler. You will see several pics of the device in this gallery but basically there were two long anchor pieces that get driven into the ground and a mounting bracket that pivots between them. Simply stand the mounting bracket vertically, attach the legs of the tower, and have a vehicle pull the tower up while several people guide it with guy ropes. What a slick device.
