Well, with illness and a last minute cancellation it was not looking too good for our monthly meeting. However, we put together some bits and pieces and actually had a pretty good meeting. First, we went on a video tour of W1AW and got to see the hallowed sanctum with all its radio stations and equipment. After that we had a discussion and demonstration of online log books and what options you have to make logging easy. Before the meeting some of us had been chatting on the repeater with Scouter Thomas VE3PDK as he was presenting Amateur Radio to a Scout troop in Port Perry. Thomas made it back to the meeting and gave us an update on how the Scouts were quite interested with this form of communications. I think their highlight was when Larry VE3LWJ checked in from sunny Florida!
